Our goal:
From 2021 to 2022 we will launch 10 new products focused on improving the health and wellbeing of pets.
Our Achievement: We achieved our goal, launching 12 new products including Purina® PRO PLAN® Veterinarian diets Cardiocare for dog, which helps to support heart function.

Our Goal:
By 2020, we will completely remove artificial colourants from our main meal products. By 2023, we will completely remove artificial colourants in snacks.

Our Goal:
By 2023, our top 10 markets across Europe will be supporting prevention partnerships and programmes to help reduce the risk of pet obesity.
Current Status: We continue to work with vets and behavioural scientists to identify the root causes of pet obesity and discover new ways to support owners in tackling this issue. You can read more about our initiatives in our Purina In Society Report.

Our goal:
By 2023, our top 10 markets across Europe will be supporting adoption programmes and organisations to help improve pet adoption rates.
Our achievement: In total, 28 countries have established Pet Adoption partnerships with approximately 50 different organisations. We will continue to support adoption programs as part of our new 6 Purina Commitments.

Our Goal:
By 2020 across Europe, we will create 200 alliances to support pets at work initiatives.

By 2016, we are committed to creating 1,500 job opportunities and traineeships for young people below the age of 30 at Nestlé Purina in Europe.

By 2025, 100% of our packaging will be reusable or recyclable.
Our achievment: In 2020 our packaging designed to be recyclable was at 78% We will continue to work towards a waste-free future as part of our new 6 Purina Commitments.

Our Goal:
By 2022, 100% of seafood ingredients to be responsibly sourced.
Our achievement: In 2021, 86% of our seafood ingredients were responsibly sourced. We are comitted to continue to work towards this as part of Our Commitment to Innovate pet nutrition and source ingredients through regenerative practises.
